Job summary

Best Buy Co. is looking for a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support and solutions at our Bloomingdale store.

You will be trained to assess customer needs, perform basic services, and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs. You’ll provide friendly service during check-in and checkout, ask questions to understand issues, set up new devices, and offer repair or replacement guidance.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Passion for technology and desire to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout process.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair or replacement decisions.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge through certified training courses and communicate with fellow agents.
