Job summary

Zones is seeking a driven Field Account Executive to sell tailored hardware, software, and services to retail customers. You will develop client relationships, identify retail tech pain points, and deliver value through integrated solutions.

In this role, you’ll partner with OEMs like HP and Cisco, distributors, and Zones engineering teams to scope, quote, and close complex deals. Expect up to 50% travel and a dynamic, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of outside field sales in IT hardware, software, or services.
• Ability to navigate enterprise organizations and manage complex buying cycles.
• Experience carrying an individual sales quota.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with retail end-users (store operations, IT, procurement).
• Position bundled hardware, software, and services to address retail challenges.
• Collaborate with OEMs, distributors, and internal teams to scope, quote, and close deals.
• Own a defined sales territory or vertical and drive opportunities from discovery to close.
• Conduct joint account mapping with vendor and internal teams to align goals.
• Assist with demos, pilots, and post-sale coordination to ensure store-level value.
• Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting in CRM, reporting on bookings and revenue.
