Job summary

Zones, LLC seeks a Field Account Executive to sell tailored hardware, software and services to retail customers—from national chains to regional players. You will develop client relationships, map opportunities, and drive deals end-to-end with OEM and partner collaboration.

The role requires up to 50% travel, a consultative sales approach, and strong knowledge of retail tech such as POS, edge computing, and in-store networking.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of outside field sales in IT hardware, software, or services.
• Experience driving enterprise deals, ID buying cycles, and quota attainment.
• CRM database experience; comfortable with CRM tooling.

Responsibilities

• Engage retail end-users (store ops, IT, procurement) to understand infrastructure needs—from POS to edge networks.
• Position bundled hardware, software, and services to address inventory visibility, omnichannel, loss prevention, store modernization.
• Collaborate with OEMs, distributors, and Zones teams to scope, quote, and close complex deals.
• Own defined territory or vertical and progress opportunities from discovery to close.
• Conduct joint account planning with vendors and internal teams for growth targets.
• Assist with in-store technology demos, pilots, and post-sale coordination.
• Maintain accurate CRM pipeline and report KPIs ( bookings, revenue, margin ).
