Job summary

Philip Morris International U.S. is seeking a Retail Team Manager to lead field teams across the United States.

You will develop and execute business plans at assigned accounts, optimize route coverage, and drive distribution, merchandising, and category initiatives to grow profit and revenue. The role requires 3-5+ years in retail sales or route sales, strong leadership and analytic skills, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 3–5+ years of retail sales, wholesale grocery or route sales required.
• Strong planning, organizational, leadership, coaching, and teamwork skills.
• Strong verbal and written presentation skills required.
• Strong analytical skills in service of understanding complex data to develop actionable initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manages and provides direction to all assigned team members in support of the achievement of Company and Regional business objectives.
• Develops and executes effective business plans at accounts assigned to him/her.
• Oversees and manages routing and call coverage to ensure proper execution of distribution and merchandising objectives.
• Analyzes business opportunities and develops executional plans for geography to accomplish goals.
• Oversees and manages team to grow operating profits and revenue year to year with assigned customer group.
• Collaborates with Talent Acquisition in recruitment of new TSMs and develops personalized development plans for direct reports.
