Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a Store Supervisor to lead assigned shift teams and ensure operational standards. The role involves opening/closing duties, coaching staff, and upholding safety policies.

The candidate will greet donors and customers, handle complaints, and maintain store appearance while ensuring accurate records and timely reporting. Flexibility to transfer between stores is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2–3 years of experience in retail.
• Associate degree or related retail management coursework preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; bilingual a plus.
• Must be certified and licensed to operate a forklift.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Must wear safety footwear at work.
• Able to adapt to growth and changing environment within the Agency.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all store personnel during assigned shift to ensure operational standards.
• Open and/or close the store as key holder/team leader on duty.
• Develop, train, coach and support team members for career growth.
• Comply with SOPs and safety and security policies.
• Greet and assist donors/customers and ensure high-quality service.
• Assist and resolve complaints and communicate issues to management.
• Maintain store appearance and housekeeping to agency standards.
• Transfer to other Goodwill of North Georgia stores as needed.
