Qualifications include a high school diploma, 2–3 years in retail, and at least 1 year in management with experience in cross-department rotations. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for growth within our family company.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or its equivalent is required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other store areas (meat, bakery, produce, deli).
• Experience in customer service and product flow is helpful.
• Ability to communicate clearly and provide direction to team members.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and address root causes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and analyze financial information to inform decisions.
• Ability to mentor team members and promote a safe work environment.

• Promote succession planning and career development for team members.
• Apply disciplinary actions when needed and make discharge recommendations.
• Manage P&L, achieve sales and control shrink for the department.
• Provide exceptional, fast, and friendly customer service.
• Communicate the Meijer Friendly Initiative in team meetings.
• Mentor team members to exceed customer service and sales goals.
• Ensure thorough training of team members and required certifications.
• Spend most time in-store communicating with customers and teams to ensure service quality.
• Maintain Meijer standards across the area.
