Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in store areas (meat, bakery, produce, deli) helpful.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with team.
• Ability to resolve conflicts by addressing root causes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information to inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise team members in day-to-day store operations.
• Mentor and coach team members.
• Improve customer service and drive store sales while meeting customer needs.
• Maintain store appearance to Meijer standards and optimize product presentation.
• Staffing, hiring, and succession planning for the team.
• Responsible for P&L, sales, and shrink targets.
• Ensure safety and accurate training across the team.
• Discipline actions and performance management as needed.
