Job summary

Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries is seeking a Retail Team Leader to assist the Store Manager in operating the Goodwill retail store. This role focuses on customer service, cash handling, merchandising and inventory control to meet production goals.

The position requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience, the ability to communicate in English with customers and staff, and a flexible schedule to support opening and closing operations.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to perform continuous walking, standing, and lifting up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Retail Store Manager with the overall operation of the retail store.
• Ensure compliance with all policies including reporting theft or misuse of company property.
• Resolve customer complaints in a fair and impartial manner, referring unsettled disputes to the store manager.
• Provide coaching and training to retail associates on job responsibilities.
• Monitor sales transactions and ensure proper sales procedures are followed.
• Handle escalated or complex sales or customer-related issues.
• Inspect and validate accurate pricing and production quality.
• Ensure production team works to achieve production goals.
