Job summary

Northern Tool + Equipment is actively seeking a Retail Operations Team Lead to champion customer service, greet customers, and supervise daily store operations. The role includes leading key operational tasks, merchandising, and supporting management as Floor Leader, including opening and closing the store.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year of retail experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a passion for tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail experience required.
• Ability to lead, guide and mentor store employees.
• Flexible availability incl. weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional service to customers.
• Lead and execute key operational functions to ensure store efficiency, inventory accuracy, and overall store readiness.
• Maintain a neat and orderly store environment including merchandising, planograms, displays and stocking shelves.
• Lead by example, taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
• Support store leadership by serving as Floor Leader (≈25% of time) and opening/closing the store.
