Job summary

Northern Tool + Equipment seeks a Retail Sales Team Lead to greet customers, assist with solutions, and promote our credit card program and service plans. You will keep shelves stocked and the sales floor organized while supporting management with daily store operations and merchandising.

The role requires at least 1 year of retail experience, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. A flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail experience minimum.
• Ability to lead and mentor store employees.
• Flexible availability including weekends/holidays.
• Love of tools & equipment and customer service orientation.
• Excellent communication skills, professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional service to best serve customers.
• Lead customer engagement and sales efforts while performing as a sales representative.
• Maintain a neat, orderly store including merchandising, planograms, displays and stocking shelves.
• Lead by example and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
• Support store leadership by acting as Floor Leader (about 25% of time) and assisting opening/closing.
