Northern Tool + Equipment is seeking a Retail Sales Team Lead in Asheville, NC. You will greet customers, assist with solutions, and maintain an organized sales floor while supporting daily store operations.

Leaders mentor staff, drive sales, promote credit and protection plans, and share responsibilities as Floor Leader. A positive, proactive attitude helps deliver a great customer experience.

Qualifications

• One year of retail experience minimum.
• Ability to lead, guide and mentor store employees.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Comfort with lifting up to 70 lbs and standing for long periods.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with solutions to meet their needs.
• Lead customer engagement and sales efforts while performing as a sales representative.
• Maintain neat, organized, and stocked selling floor with merchandising standards.
• Support store leadership and open/close responsibilities as Floor Leader (~25%).
• Promote store credit programs and service protection plans to customers.
