Bass Pro Shops in Wheeling, WV is seeking a Team Lead to guide a department’s associates in merchandising, customer service and daily operations. You will direct tasks, maintain planograms, and help meet sales and gross margin goals.

Requires 2–4 years in retail and supervisory experience; you will train staff, coach performance, and ensure a high-quality shopping experience. You will also support events, product demos, pricing integrity, and UPC accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 2 to 4 years in Retail Sales.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily direction to department associates.
• Maintain planograms and pricing, stock, and inventory.
• Staff the department with service-oriented associates; coordinate training and scheduling.
• Coach and motivate associates to promote positive customer relations and productivity.
• Resolve issues with GSM/DM and HR Manager; ensure harassment-free environment.
• Provide legendary customer service by identifying needs and recommending products; promote CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pick-up.
• Conduct product demos and assist with Special Events; maintain UPC integrity and proper assortments.
