Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Wheeling, West Virginia, seeks a Team Leader to guide department associates in sales, merchandising, and customer service. You will direct work, manage inventory, and execute pricing and promos to drive store performance.

Responsibilities include staff training, scheduling, and coaching to deliver exceptional customer experiences while maintaining product knowledge and participating in events and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 2 to 4 years in Retail Sales.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily direction to department associates and ensures customer service excellence.
• Maintains merchandising directives and planograms as set by Corporate.
• Assists in staff recruitment, training, and scheduling; coaches a productive team.
• Performs product demos and maintains product knowledge through training.
• Coordinates events, pricing, and UPC integrity; monitors inventory accuracy.
• Resolves customer and associate issues with GSM/DM and HR Manager.
