Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Team Leader to direct department associates in merchandising, pricing, stocking, and customer service. You will help meet sales, margin, and staffing goals while maintaining plan-o-grams and inventory accuracy.

You will mentor staff, interview and train new associates, and coordinate schedules to deliver a legendary customer experience. This role requires supervisory retail experience and strong product knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail Sales Supervisory experience is a plus; 2–4 years preferred.
• Strong ability to read reports and present information to groups.
• Proficient with PC-based word processing, spreadsheets, and POS/inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily direction to department associates and manage merchandising.
• Support achievement of sales, gross margin, inventory, and payroll goals.
• Prepare to-do lists and execute merchandising directives; maintain plan-o-grams.
• Staff department with service-oriented associates; interview and select; train.
• Coordinate training, schedule weekly work, and coach associates.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist buying decisions.
• Maintain pricing, UPC integrity, and inventory accuracy.
