New Balance in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Retail Team Lead to join our leadership team. This full-time role focuses on opening/closing the store, coaching sales staff, and driving results while delivering a world-class guest experience.

You will lead by example, manage scheduling timelines, and participate in hiring. The position requires a strong customer-service mindset, flexible availability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance when needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years retail supervisory experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive leadership presence on the sales floor and coach associates.
• Drive results by training and developing team members to meet KPIs.
• May assist store manager in creating schedules and floor moves.
• Deliver a great guest experience using the GUEST service model.
• Maintain operational standards including opening/closing, inventory control, and procedures.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of top talent.
• Follow safety and reporting regulations and proper lifting procedures.
