Job summary

New Balance Athletics, Inc. in Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time Retail Team Lead to open/close the store, drive results, and deliver a world-class guest experience. You will lead by example through New Balance’s core competencies and coaching on the sales floor.

The role requires leadership, strong customer service and communication, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays. Previous retail supervisory experience is preferred, and you may assist with scheduling and floor moves to support

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 2 years’ retail supervisory experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational experience.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of a thriving retail business, which may entail working on weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance as needed and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive leadership presence on the sales floor and coach associates.
• Drive results through training and development of associates.
• Assist store manager with scheduling and floor moves.
• Deliver a great guest experience using the GUEST service model.
• Be operationally sound with opening/closing, inventory control, and procedures.
• Participate in recruiting/interviewing/hiring of top talent.
• Follow safety and reporting regulations.
