Job summary

New Balance Athletics, Inc. is seeking a Retail Team Lead in Williamsburg, VA to open/close the store, coach staff, and drive store results.

You will lead by example, deliver a world-class guest experience, and uphold New Balance's core competencies on the sales floor. The role requires 2 years of retail supervisory experience (preferred), a high school diploma, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• 2 years' retail supervisory experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent educational experience
• Demonstrated leadership ability
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends/holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance, stand for extended periods, and climb stairs as needed

Responsibilities

• Be a positive leadership presence on the sales floor and coach associates
• Drive results by training and developing associates to meet store KPIs
• Assist store manager with scheduling and floor moves
• Deliver a world-class guest experience using the GUEST service model
• Maintain store operations including opening/closing and inventory control
• Participate in recruiting/interviewing/hiring top talent
• Follow safety and reporting regulations
