Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; GGW Aspiring Managers/Employ Excellence may substitute this requirement.
• Strong communication skills, reading and math abilities, and cashier experience are expected.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40–50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Assists the store manager with the overall operation of the retail store.
• Assists the store manager in compliance and enforcement of company policy and standards.
• Performs daily administrative/clerical functions and cash transactions.
• Monitors sales transactions and ensures proper procedures are followed by staff.
• Maintains store appearance per Goodwill standards and enforces safety procedures.
• Assists in addressing customer complaints and provides input for interviews and evaluations.
• Makes bank deposits and opens/closes the store as needed.
• Supervises and trains retail associates and assists with staffing and attendance.
