Job summary

New Balance is seeking a full-time Retail Team Lead to contribute to a high-energy store environment in a leadership capacity. You will open/close, coach staff, drive KPI outcomes, and ensure an exceptional guest experience using our service model.

Responsibilities include merchandising oversight, training, and participation in hiring while maintaining safety protocols. A flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, is required to thrive in this retail role.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail supervisory experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive leadership presence on the sales floor and coach associates.
• Drive results by training and developing team performance to meet KPIs.
• Assist and lead store merchandising.
• Deliver a great guest experience using the GUEST service model.
• Manage opening/closing operations and inventory controls.
• Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring top talent.
• Follow safety and reporting regulations including lifting procedures.
