Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Experience rotating in meat, bakery, produce and deli.
• Ability to communicate to team members with clear direction.
• Ability to resolve conflict and identify root causes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information.
• Ability to teach suggestive selling.
• Leadership in safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise day-to-day store operations.
• Mentor and coach team members.
• Implement strategies to improve customer service and sales.
• Maintain store appearance during peak hours.
• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet needs.
• Promote succession planning with career paths.
• Disciplinary actions and recommendations for discharge.
• Manage P&L, sales, and shrink.
• Ensure team training and completion of required training.
• Ensure safe work environment and reliable attendance.
