Meijer Inc. is seeking an experienced store leadership professional to plan, direct and supervise day-to-day operations across departments. You will mentor teams, drive sales, and ensure customer needs are met with fast, friendly service.

The role emphasizes staffing, training and adherence to company standards, with a focus on safety, efficiency and positive store image. Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in store areas (meat, bakery, produce, deli) helpful.
• Demonstrated ability to provide clear direction and resolve conflict.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise team members in day-to-day store operations.
• Mentor and coach all team members to improve service and sales.
• Manage staffing, hiring and development to meet needs.
• Oversee P&L, sales targets and shrink reduction for the department.
• Lead a safe, efficient and customer-focused store environment.
• Ensure team training and adherence to company standards.
• Maintain great customer service and Meijer Friendly Initiative in meetings.
