Job summary

Rack Room Shoes is seeking a Team Lead to assist in supervising daily store operations and to provide leadership and training to staff under the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager. The Team Lead will ensure policy compliance and help the store meet sales, service and operational goals.

The role may be full- or part-time and requires working closely with customers, management, and frontline associates to maintain an excellent shopping experience and efficient store performance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day store operations.
• Provide leadership and training to staff under guidance of Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager.
• Ensure 100% policy compliance and achieve sales/service/operational objectives.
• Handle customer issues with urgency and aim for satisfaction.
• Oversee POS transactions, loyalty, and opening/closing procedures.
• Manage inventory control, pricing changes and merchandising standards.
• Monitor payroll, scheduling, and attendance in line with policies.
• Train and develop direct reports and enforce service standards.
• Support loss prevention and protect company assets.
