Job summary

New Balance in Mosaic District, VA is seeking a full-time Retail Team Lead to open/close the store, coach staff, and drive results while delivering a world-class guest experience.

You will lead by example, supervise operations, assist with scheduling, recruit top talent, and ensure safety and compliance in a fast-paced retail environment. This role requires 18+ years, 2 years of supervisory experience, and readiness for weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 2 years retail supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive leadership presence on the sales floor.
• Drive results by coaching and training associates to meet KPIs.
• Assist store manager with scheduling and floor moves.
• Deliver a great guest experience using our service model.
• Maintain operational standards including opening/closing, inventory, and safety.
• Participate in recruiting and interviewing top talent.
• Ensure safety and reporting compliance.
