Job summary

New Balance in New York, NY is seeking a full-time Retail Team Lead to open/close the store, drive results and run day-to-day operations while delivering a world-class guest experience. You will lead by example through New Balance's core competencies and coach associates on the sales floor.

Requirements include 18+, 2 years of retail supervisory experience preferred, a high school diploma or equivalent, strong leadership, customer service and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 2 years' retail supervisory experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational experience.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive leadership presence on the sales floor and coach associates.
• Drive results by training and developing the team to hit store KPIs.
• Assist store manager with scheduling and floor moves as needed.
• Deliver a great guest experience using the GUEST service model.
• Maintain store operations: opening/closing, inventory control, procedures.
• Participate in recruiting and interviewing top talent.
• Follow safety and reporting procedures.
