Job summary

New Balance Vacaville, CA is seeking a full-time Retail Team Lead to drive store performance and deliver a world-class guest experience. You will lead by example through New Balance’s Core Competencies, open/close the store, and coach the team to achieve KPIs.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of retail supervisory experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the flexibility to work weekends and holidays in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years retail supervisory experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational experience.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of a thriving retail business, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move boxes and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive leadership presence on the sales floor while coaching professionally with all associates.
• Be results driven in achieving store KPIs through training and development of associates.
• May assist store manager in creating the schedule and leading floor moves.
• Deliver a great guest experience utilizing the GUEST service model.
• Be operationally sound, opening/closing the store, inventory control, and procedures.
• Be involved in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring top talent.
• Follow safety and reporting regulations including proper lifting procedures.
