Job summary

AAA Club Alliance is hiring a full-time Retail Staff Assistant/Team Lead in Fredericksburg, VA. You will mentor staff, drive sales, and ensure excellent member service while supporting daily store operations.

The role involves upselling AAA memberships, credit cards, and travel-related services, plus assisting with travel planning and roadside support during busy periods. A strong candidate has 3+ years in sales and leadership. Notary readiness is valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales and customer service experience
• Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to navigate multiple websites and programs
• Geography knowledge is beneficial
• Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Enhance the customer experience and guide a team to success
• Upsell and cross-sell AAA products (memberships, credit cards, insurance)
• Assist members with travel planning (car rentals, hotels, packages)
• Answer overflow Roadside Assistance calls during peak times
• Provide backup in Cashiering, Tag and Title, and IDEMIA services
• Support the Retail Manager by leading associates and boosting store performance
