Job summary

AAA Club Alliance in Richmond, VA is hiring a Retail Sales Associate to promote AAA memberships, insurance referrals, and financial products while helping customers plan trips.

You’ll handle roadside assistance inquiries throughout the day, assist with cashiering and ID services, and contribute to a collaborative team focused on service excellence. The role includes a competitive hourly wage, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills to build trust and explain value clearly.
• Comfortable navigating multiple systems in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous sales experience is a plus.
• Basic geography knowledge is a plus.
• Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain with 6 months of employment.
• Satisfactory pre-employment and post-employment screenings, including license requirements as needed.

Responsibilities

• Consistently promote and recommend AAA memberships, insurance referrals, and financial products
• Assist customers with travel planning including hotels, car rentals, and vacation packages
• Manage and respond to Roadside Assistance calls continuously throughout the day
• Contribute to team operations by helping with cashiering, tag and title services, and ID services as needed
