Job summary

Goodwill Houston is seeking a Retail Team Lead to help manage day-to-day store operations and the donation area under the Store Manager. You will lead a team, ensure efficient customer service, and maintain accurate cash handling at POS.

The role requires retail experience, strong communication, and flexibility to work varied shifts. You will train Team Members, supervise donation flow, and support store goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years retail sales experience preferred.
• Management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, weekends.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Open/close store and manage daily operations in Manager's absence.
• Lead and communicate goals to the team daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Oversee sales transactions and cash accountability at POS.
• Train and develop Team Members.
• Manage donation flow per policies.
• Rotate apparel and hard goods per procedures.
• Operate store systems and complete counts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
