Job summary

Goodwill Houston is seeking a Retail Team Lead (RTL) to support day-to-day store operations and the donated goods program. You will supervise associates, ensure world-class customer service, and manage cash handling, scheduling, and safety compliance at the Houston store.

The RTL position requires English communication, retail experience, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends. This is a full-time on-site role within the Donated Goods Program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of retail sales experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage store operations in the absence of SM/ASM.
• Open/close, adhere to the rotating schedule and daily operations.
• Accurately complete sales transactions and cash handling at POS.
• Assist with training and development of associates.
• Ensure proper donation flow handling per GWH policies.
• Maintain store systems and achieve performance metrics.
