Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a Part-time/Full-Time Key Holder to engage customers, deliver an exceptional in-store experience, and support store leadership with operations and merchandising. The role emphasizes selling, product knowledge, and POS proficiency while helping to exceed sales goals and develop the team.

Candidates should have 1–2 years in retail, strong leadership and communication skills, and availability for varied shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of retail sales experience.
• Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, time management and organization skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts to meet business needs including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Up to 10% travel to support local stores, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture; exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
• Become an expert in product categories; communicate product knowledge to the customer.
• Maintain and achieve measurable goals (UPT, ADT, add-ons, customer data capture).
• Be informed of current promotions and advertisements.
• Maintain merchandising standards and assist with floor moves and store housekeeping.
• Process merchandise and monitor replenishment of floor stock.
• Complete sales transactions accurately at POS registers.
• Partner with store leadership to develop skills and improve metrics.
• Complete opening and closing procedures and comply with Time and Attendance policies.
• Enforce all laws and company policies.
• Demonstrate high level of quality work, attendance and appearance.
