Job summary

Gap Inc. is seeking a store associate in Baton Rouge, LA to support the store leadership team and drive a best-in-class customer experience. You will model selling behaviors, educate customers on loyalty programs, and ensure tasks are completed efficiently during and around store hours.

You will collaborate with team members, contribute to a positive work environment, and stay engaged with omni-channel initiatives to deliver seamless service while adhering to compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused approach delivering best-in-class experience.
• Educate customers about loyalty programs to build loyalty.
• Model and teach brand selling behaviors with every customer.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including holiday, evening, overnight and weekend shifts.
• Lift up to 30 pounds and move around sales floor, stockroom and office.

Responsibilities

• Consistently treat all customers and employees with respect and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Promote customer loyalty by educating customers about our loyalty programs.
• Becomes an expert in the brand's selling behaviors by role modeling these behaviors with every customer.
• Support store leadership during non-peak hours with the customer as the primary focus.
• Collaborate with employees and ensure work tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Build and share expertise in the product lifecycle.
• Complete work before or after store hours, including opening/closing checklists.
• Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
• Ensure all compliance standards are met.
