Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a motivated team leader to help run daily store operations and ensure an exceptional customer experience. This role emphasizes coaching staff, scheduling, inventory, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

You'll engage with customers, mentor teammates, and collaborate with leadership to meet store goals while upholding Meijer's values of teamwork, service, and inclusion across our Williams Creek location.

Responsibilities

• Engage peers to provide the best possible shopping experience and checkout experience.
• Communicate with team members and assign daily tasks.
• Mentor and coach team members to meet service and sales goals and uphold Meijer standards.
• Support training of new team members and cross-training of high-potential talent.
• Collaborate with leadership on department scheduling to improve engagement and sales.
• Ensure freshness and rotation of products and compliance with safety standards.
