Job summary

Meijer Inc. seeks an experienced store manager to lead daily operations, mentor team members, and uphold customer service excellence while maintaining presentation and inventory standards.

You will drive staffing, training, and development, oversee scheduling, and ensure safety, shrink control, and compliant store policies during peak hours. This leadership role rewards strong communication, strategic thinking, and a passion for community service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Staffing, selection and hiring to achieve staffing needs.
• Promotes succession planning by providing career paths and development needs.
• Documents and applies disciplinary actions and makes recommendations concerning discharge.
• Responsible for P&L, achieving sales and maintaining shrink for the department.
• Models exceptional, fast and friendly customer service.
• Mentors and coaches the team to ensure customer service and sales goals are met.
