Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to provide hands-on tax preparation and personalized advice at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations in the United States. You will engage with customers, build local relationships, and leverage marketing support to grow your client base while delivering outstanding service.

The role requires an active EA/CPA/attorney license, PTIN, and at least 3 years of experience preparing 1040s, with a strong emphasis on community presence and onsite work.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience with deep knowledge of tax law preferred.
• Active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing
• Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
• Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment

Responsibilities

• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador: Represent TurboTax locally, engage with prospects, nurture leads, and drive local marketing.
• Provide Tax Expertise: Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services, handle simple to complex tax situations, and perform tax reviews.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience: Ensure professionalism and help clients achieve financial goals, build long-term relationships, and use TurboTax tools to assist clients.
