Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location, providing hands-on tax return preparation and expert tax advice to in-person customers.

You will grow TurboTax’s local client base, engage with the community, and leverage marketing and software tools to build lasting relationships. This non-exempt, on-site role requires 20+ hours per week and weekend flexibility.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax prep exp.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• State licenses/certificates/permitting may be needed.
• 3+ years of paid 1040 tax returns per season using professional software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230
• Onsite at a TurboTax location, 20+ hours/week
• Desire to build local/online presence as TurboTax Expert
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing
• Wear a TurboTax uniform
• Front-facing retail environment work

Responsibilities

• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador: represent TurboTax locally and be the public face.
• Engage with prospects, nurture leads, convert to long-term clients.
• Lead and participate in local marketing to make taxes approachable.
• Provide Tax Expertise: hands-on tax advice and preparation for simple to complex returns.
• Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover deductions and plan taxes.
• Use government sites and tools to deliver accurate, language-friendly solutions.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience: professional service and client goals.
• Build trust to turn transactions into multi-year relationships.
• Interact in-person and via Intuit video tools; address inquiries.
