Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking motivated individuals for year-round TurboTax Retail Expert positions at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States.

You will provide full-service tax return preparation, tax advice, and software support to in-person customers, acting as a trusted advisor in a community setting. You will grow TurboTax’s client base locally, participate in marketing efforts, and deliver exceptional customer service while working onsite.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax law preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be willing to work onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to identify deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and offer future tax planning guidance.
• Utilize government resources, professional tools, and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions in clear everyday language.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professionalism and genuine care for clients' financial goals.
• Build long-term relationships and engage with clients in-person and via TurboTax tools.
