Responsibilities

• The Assistant Manager assists the Store Manager in managing daily store operations and ensures compliance with company policies.
• Provides leadership, guidance and training to staff under direction from the Store Manager.
• In the Store Manager's absence, assumes responsibility for all store operations.
• Aims to meet and exceed all sales, service and operational objectives.
• Ensure safety and welfare of employees and customers.
• Create and maintain an excellent customer shopping experience; uphold service levels.
• Oversee POS transactions, discounts, refunds, loyalty, and opening/closing procedures.
• Manage inventory control: shipping/receiving, price changes, markdowns, singles, damaged merchandise, and physical inventory.
• Direct merchandising and visual presentation to match company standards.
