Job summary

Cumberland Farms is seeking a driven Manager in Training to support store leadership, learn day-to-day operations, and progress to a Store Manager role. This full-time position offers hands-on development, exposure to training managers, and opportunities across Cumberland Farms' 1500+ sites in the U.S.

You will participate in a structured training program, rotate shifts, and contribute to creating an exceptional guest shopping experience while developing leadership skills for future growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School or GED.
• Minimum 1 year retail or food experience.
• Preferred leadership experience in retail, guest service or restaurant.
• ServSafe / Food Safety certification a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm welcome and a smile, delivering exceptional customer service.
• Assist Store Manager with building and developing a strong store team through training and coaching.
• Monitor product levels on the sales floor and ensure 100% in-stock at all times.
• Oversee quality control, merchandising, and food safety programs where applicable.
• Maintain store cleanliness and operate the cash register efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or District Manager.
