J.Crew Factory is seeking an Associate Manager to join its leadership team. You will partner with the Store Director to drive profitability while fostering genuine customer connections, brand loyalty, and community engagement.

You will coach, train, and step into other roles to maintain retail excellence. You will oversee multiple divisions—Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, and Service & Selling—while ensuring accountability and delivering top-tier service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-time retail management experience.
• Ability to lead and coach a team while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfort with lifting up to 40 pounds (18 kg).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Store Director to act as a shared business owner and maximize profitability.
• Own your designated division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling, etc.).
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology with accountability.
• Support Store Director with recruiting, training and development efforts.
• Partner with Store Director and management to foster a collaborative working environment.
• Ensure the team exceeds goals and delivers best-in-class customer service.
• Develop innovative community engagement and loyalty-building events.
• Fill in various roles on the sales floor as needed.
