J.Crew Factory is seeking an Associate Manager who will be a key member of the leadership team. You will drive profitability by building genuine customer connections and brand loyalty, while coaching the team to maximize performance.

Expect to rotate into other roles to maintain operational excellence across the store. You’ll collaborate with the Store Director, own your division (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling), and ensure we deliver exceptional service and results.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-time retail management experience.
• Passionately support our brand, customers, and teams.
• Stay up to date with current fashion trends and industry developments.
• Embrace teamwork, flexibility, and courtesy while executing tasks.
• Innovate and champion new ideas while navigating uncertainty, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
• Have scheduling flexibility, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must bend, reach, stretch for product as well as lift, carry and move at least 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Store Director to act as a shared business owner and maximize profitability.
• Own your designated division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology while ensuring accountability.
• Support Store Director with recruiting, training and development efforts.
• Partner with Store Director and management team to curate a collaborative working environment for all associates.
• Ensure the team is always on track to exceed goals and provide best-in-class customer service.
• Develop innovative ways to engage the community and build loyalty through events.
• Step into a variety of roles on the sales floor when needed.
