J.Crew Factory is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our leadership team. You’ll drive profitability through genuine customer connections, brand loyalty and community engagement, while coaching the sales team for peak performance.

Partner with leadership to adapt strategies and ensure smooth operational support as needed. You will manage your division (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling), recruit and train staff, and foster a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail management experience in a similar scope.
• Commitment to brand, customers and teams.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork ability.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Director and Associate Store Manager to drive profitability and brand connection.
• Own division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems and technology with accountability.
• Assist with recruiting, training and development as needed.
• Collaborate to maintain a collaborative work environment.
• Ensure the team exceeds goals and delivers best-in-class service.
• Lead product knowledge sessions to elevate customer connections.
• Engage the community and build loyalty through events.
• Step into various sales floor roles when needed.
