Job summary

Target’s Stores Executive Internship offers a paid, 40 hr/week program designed to develop future store leaders. You will lead teammates, run daily priorities, and gain exposure to guest service, sales, and operations under mentorship.

The role provides hands-on leadership experience and a real preview of an ETL/Assistant Store Manager path. You will learn to drive guest experience, lead teams, and grow in a fast-paced retail environment while remaining compliant with safety and company

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong interest in working in retail, specifically within our stores in management.
• Leadership skills and team‑oriented thinking.
• Learn and adapt to current technology needs.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Spend time on the store salesfloor and backroom leading team members.
• Lead daily huddles with peer/leadership team.
• Set goals and organize plans to achieve store priorities.
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience and resolve issues.
• Support execution of daily operations and safety practices.
