Job summary

Kohl's is seeking an Operations Manager or Merchandising Manager to oversee store operations and/or merchandising, coaching associates to execute processes that drive efficiency and customer satisfaction. The role focuses on achieving key performance metrics and maximizing sales and profitability.

The position requires leadership in frontline teams, pricing and merchandising execution, and adherence to brand standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience supervising teams or associates, including coaching to achieve daily goals and performance management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong people management skills and ability to develop talent.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations and/or merchandising to drive sales and profitability.
• Coach, teach, and develop associates on operational, service and merchandising processes.
• Lead execution of pricing, ticketing and signing procedures.
• Ensure merchandising standards align with visual direction and brand standards.
• Manage floor replenishment and remerchandising based on sell-through and seasonality.
• Support loss prevention and protect product through defined procedures.
• Train new hires on processes and policies to maintain productivity and consistency.
• Analyze KPIs to inform business decisions and store performance.
