Job summary

Kohl's in the United States is seeking an Operations Manager or Merchandising Manager to oversee store operations and/or merchandising while driving customer service excellence. You will coach and develop associates to execute processes with consistent execution and efficiency, aiming to improve sales and profitability.

The role covers merchandising, pricing, loss prevention, and training of new hires, with focus on KPI outcomes and brand standards.

• Experience supervising teams or associates.
• Coaching to achieve daily goals and performance management.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure sound operational processes for receiving, stockroom and omni-channel fulfillment.
• Drive accuracy through merchandise disposition and pricing changes.
• Maintain stock levels on the sales floor based on sell-through and seasonality.
• Lead point-of-sale and customer service to deliver fast, friendly transactions.
• Ensure merchandising aligns with visual direction and is easy to understand.
• Direct training of associates on merchandising standards and Kohl's tools.
• Monitor KPI performance to inform store decisions and results.
• Support loss prevention through awareness and policy adherence.
• Manage training for new hires on processes, inventory, and product knowledge.
