Job summary

The Michaels Companies, a leading arts and crafts retailer, seeks a Sales Manager to drive a high-performing selling culture across the store and deliver strong sales and customer experience. You will lead front-end operations, coach staff, and ensure brand standards and SOPs are followed to achieve KPIs.

Responsibilities include MOD coverage, POS accuracy, loyalty program enrollment, and omni-channel execution such as BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to coach employees on selling behaviors and customer experience.
• Strong knowledge of store operations and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and champion a high-performing selling culture across the store.
• Oversee front-end and service operations and ensure brand standards.
• Coach team members to improve converting metrics and customer satisfaction.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain floor leadership during shifts.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout systems and support transactions.
• Drive omni-channel services like BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
