Job summary

Old Navy, part of Gap Inc., is seeking an Assistant Manager in Harrisburg to set the tone for the store and drive profitable sales growth through customer and product operations, merchandising, and talent development. You will coach Leaders, Experts and Brand Associates to deliver a best-in-class customer experience under the direction of the General Manager.

You will work with a team to recruit and develop staff, manage store operations, and execute the store strategy while upholding brand

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• Excellent communication with customers and team members.
• Thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Driven by metrics to achieve business goals.
• Ability to coach and mentor others.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, weekends.
• Able to utilize retail technology.
• Able to move around sales floor and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Support strategies to drive store sales and deliver results with a customer-centric mindset.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associates and Experts.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Ensure consistent execution of SOPs.
• Represent the brand and understand the retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement.
• Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
• Ensure all compliance standards are met.
