Job summary

Michaels Daytona Beach is hiring a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing store team, champion a customer-centric selling culture, and achieve key KPIs. You will supervise front-end operations, drive loyalty program participation, and ensure operational excellence across POS, BOPIS, and in-store events.

The role requires 3+ years of retail leadership, willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings, and the ability to stand for long periods while moving throughout the store.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience driving KPI-driven store performance.
• Ability to coach and develop sales teammates.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure policies and standards are followed; hold team accountable.
• Model and coach customer experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout operations for smooth transactions.
• Lead in-store programs (Balloons, Birthday parties, loyalty enrollments).
• Promote and drive MCC/Extend services and protection plans.
• Drive omni-channel fulfillment (BOPIS, Same Day Delivery).
• Support Custom Framing operations and frame Shop coordination.
• Train and develop team across departments.
• Maintain Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink.
