Job summary

Goodwill of Monocacy Valley, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager at our Frederick, MD location. The role leads daily sales floor operations, supports store leadership, and ensures excellent donor and shopper experiences.

The position requires one year of retail management and customer service experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen. High school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of retail management experience required.
• One year of customer service experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Background check and drug screen, where applicable.
• Ability to read and speak English proficiently.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads the daily operations of the sales floor.
• Manages payroll costs and operating costs within budget.
• Ensures excellent customer service to donors and customers.
• De-escalates customer situations and resolves issues.
• Oversees donations processing, inventory, and store cleanliness.
• Trains and develops store team members and acts as key holder.
