Job summary

Lids Sports Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking an energetic Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations and supervise a team of sales associates. You’ll drive sales, uphold brand standards, and deliver exceptional customer service while managing scheduling, training, and performance feedback.

As the face of the store, you will implement company policies, oversee inventory and visual merchandising, and ensure a safe, welcoming shopping environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, etc. when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through LIDS Training Programs, goal setting and follow up.
• Administer progressive discipline including verbal and written warnings.
• Engage team to create a fun, productive environment aligned with company objectives.
• Recruit and train store personnel on proper store operations and procedures.
• Enforce company policies and guidelines including inventory security.
• Schedule and staff the store, including covering shifts as needed.
• Support merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness to meet VM standards.
• Open and close the store following Operations procedures.
