Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver outstanding customer experiences. You will act as manager on duty, guide staff through training programs, and uphold Lids standards in visual merchandising, inventory control, and store policies.

The role emphasizes team leadership, discipline, and creating a fun, productive environment while meeting sales targets and maintaining operations.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, etc. when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through LIDS Training Programs, goal setting, and regular follow up when Store Manager is not present.
• Administer the progressive steps of discipline including verbal and written warnings in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Engage team members by creating a fun and productive environment aligned with company objectives and store success.
• Participate in recruiting and training store personnel on proper store operations and procedures.
• Encourage adherence to company policies and safeguarding inventory and funds.
